I’m Ethan Hardie, an aspiring electronics engineer from Ontario, Canada, with a deep passion for electronics, radiocommunications, electromagnetism, and the fundamental sciences that power modern technology.
This site is a space where curiosity meets creativity — a place to learn, explore, and see how theory connects to hands-on innovation.
What You’ll Find Here
This website is built around two main sections: Lessons and Projects.
- Lessons — Here, I explain fundamental concepts in electronics, engineering, physics, computer science, and mathematics, starting from the ground up. My goal is to make complex topics clear, logical, and engaging for learners of all levels.
- Projects — This section showcases real-world applications of those same principles. From designing circuits and experimenting with antennas to programming and building interactive tools, these projects demonstrate how theoretical ideas come to life in practice.
Whether you’re a student, hobbyist, or simply curious about how things work, I hope these resources inspire you to think critically, explore new ideas, and build something of your own.
A Bit About Me
Outside the lab, I enjoy cycling, playing piano, swimming, and coding, all of which keep me balanced and creative.
I hold an Amateur Radio Operator’s License (Basic with Honors) and have been recognized at the York Regional Science Fair with multiple awards, including the Award for Innovation in Space Exploration.
I’m currently working toward my goal of studying Electronics Engineering at the university level, with future plans to pursue advanced research and design technologies that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
About the Site
This website was programmed entirely from scratch using Node.js and Next.js — a full-stack environment that lets me blend functionality with performance.
Every page, component, and animation is hand-coded to reflect both my technical skills and my passion for engineering design.
Join the Journey
This site will continue to evolve with new lessons, projects, and insights as I learn and grow.
If you’re interested in the science and engineering that make our world work — or if you just enjoy seeing cool ideas take shape — you’re in the right place.
Thanks for visiting, and welcome to the journey!
— Ethan Hardie
